Great job with your “I poem!” I love how you incorporated such an important concept that we all so often neglect! We should all post this on our refrigerators! It’s so much more effective than studying the “food pyramid”!!

Thanks! This week I’m starting my Food Chemistry Unit and I think I am going to give a copy to each student to read and explain.

What a wonderful start Angela! You have done a nice job incorporating your factual information. I would say at this point, let’s focus on word choice and incorporating the “poetic language, literary devices, and memorable images.” I am so excited that you will be integrating the poetry assignment with your science unit! Yes!
